The 5-Door / GS is basically the same as the standard GLS. Cruise in standard however.

Hyundai Sonata Gas Mileage

What type of gas mileage can you expect in your Hyundai Sonata? I personally own a 2013 2.4L GLS and we love it! My wife uses hers for daily trips to school, markets, etc. The highway rating is 35 MPG's and 24 City and Combined 28. We average overall 28. Hyundai hit the nail on the head with their ratings.

We recently took our Sonata on both our vacations this year. Not that we travel much, but it was nice to jump in the car and go. Myrtle Beach and we went to Daytona Beach over the summer. I averaged on the interstate between 32-37 on the highway and averaged overall 33 in my Sonata. I'll take that anytime!

I hope this review help you out on the Hyundai Sonata. Remember, mine is the 2.4L GLS package.

2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS VS 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS

Some of the 2014's are here and ready to sell. Big deal, right?! What's new on the 2014 Hyundai  Sonata vs 2013 Hyundai Sonata? Some awesome upgraded features you're sure to love. For this post I am going to post what's different between the 2013 and 2014 for the GLS model with Popular Equipment Package.

First off, the price didn't go up too much. Just a couple hundred dollars, if any, depending on accessories added. How about this..4.3" color touchscreen audio display with rearview camera!! Side mirror-mounted turn signal indicators and Driver blind spot mirror!! The inside has a fresh update, too.

Rides just as nice if not better. With the new standard Driver Selectable Drive Mode, you can pick from Sport, Normal or Comfort for handling of the steering wheel. Oh, they added Desert Bronze to the lineup and changed the shade on a few colors.

Why Lease?

Have you ever thought of leasing a new car? I'm sure you've seen all the tv ads from Shaq and Peyton about leasing that awesome new Buick. Well, I don't know about that, but if that's floats your boat that's cool. Leasing can be a great options if you're looking more features without the higher payment. Do you like to trade cars every few years? Do you not drive too many miles a year (10-12,000)? Leasing might be a great option for you and can save you some money.

The new lease is the 24 month lease! If you can put your first payment and license down, generally you can escape with a nice low payment. Right now the Hyundai Elantra 24 month lease with $2,499 down (trade or cash) makes your payment $106 with tax in Ky! Hell of a deal on a $19,000 car! You can save some money!

Another good reason to lease is it can help dig you out of a negative situation in your automobile. A friend of mine had about $8,000 in negative equity in their Maxima from trading. Leased them a brand new G37X with $0 down and only raised their payment by $20 bucks. After 39 payments they can start fresh (less than the loan they owed on) and get what they want and probably lower their payment.

Peace!
